I know what your thinking, vacation rental homes are much more expensive than your average hotel room. How is a student going to afford a spring break package that includes a rental home instead of a hotel room. You would be surprised how affordable they really can be. You can do some research on your own and find a great vacation homes to rent for your spring break trip. Many of these rentals are equipped with full kitchens so you can save quite a bit of money eating in rather than eating out three times a day.

Spring Break trips usually consist of large groups traveling to the same destination. Chances are your traveling with six or more of your close friends. As you know, most hotel rooms only allow four people in each room. It’s not that they are trying to give you a hard time, it’s a fire law. This forces larger groups to book two rooms. But you can usually put all six, eight, ten people in a rental home. Yes it’s going to be more expensive, but the price is split with the number of people in your group so it can be much cheaper per person.

So do some reasearch this year and depending on the number of travelers in your group, why not research and try a vacation home for your 2011 Spring Break trip, you will be glad you did.
